Ijaws under the aegis of Ijaw National Congress North America Chapter (INC, NAC) made history on Saturday May 14, 2022, when they came together to elect new Chapter Executive Committee Members for the first time to pilot the affairs of Congress in the Americas for the next 3yrs. (Mr. Kenneth Ibiene Anga – Chairman, INC North America Chapter) Since the National Executive Council of INC under the leadership of Late Prof. Kimse Okoko set up the Chapter in Houston in 2006 during his second term in office as National President, the Chapter have not held any election to choose her Executive Committee Members. The journey to this day has not been an easy one.
