NOW THAT FUEL SUBSIDY IS GONE WRITEN BY FUBARA, SHED.
It’s very unfortunate that the very poor Nigerians the govt of PGEJ is looking out, for whom he made the bold decision to remove fuel subsidy which has only benefited a few cabal; are the same people calling him all kinds of names. Indeed my people perish for lack of knowledge.
One will expect that an average Nigerian whose life style continues to take a nose dive will hail this decision by GEJ rather than allow themselves to be used by the very oil magnets who have benefitted the most from subsidy at the expense of the people.
This is the time when the masses should demand from the government better life, healthcare, building of new refineries, job creation, road construction, increase in wages, etc rather than engage in smear campaign championed by those who have short-changed the masses.
The government of PGEJ has taken a step in the right direction. Nigerians should ask themselves one simply question, how well have we faired all these years of Fuel Subsidy? And if we can be sincere with ourselves, the truth is: the masses have been short-changed badly by the cartels in Nigeria. And this must stop.
Nigerians should rally around the President; support his economic reforms but most importantly demand accountability, building of infrastructure, better life and reduction of poverty.
Come to think of it, why are these Lawmakers who are crying foul now pretending to be on the side of the people not giving up 60% of their huge pay check so that Govt can use it to provide essential services to benefit the masses?
Wake up Nigerians, be not deceived. There is nowhere in the world where PMS is sold for $0.40 i.e N65/litre. Only a few are benefiting from the continuous subsidy; money Govt would have used to better the lives of the masses.
The reality is here, Fuel Subsidy is gone for the good of the masses!
